Therapy Fees

”Fees range from $175/hr to $225/hr, depending on the therapist you are seeing.

A standard appointment is one hour (50 minutes of therapy + 5 minutes for payment and scheduling a next appointment and 5 minutes for the therapist to complete note-taking) but appointments can also be booked for 90-minute or 120-minute increments.

Psychological services are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Our services are covered by most extended health care plans (e.g., workplace and student benefits). As well, psychological services may be claimed as a medical expense for income tax purposes.

Payment may be made by debit, credit card, cash, or e-transfer. Payment is due at the end of each session.

Cancellation policy: If you do not attend a scheduled appointment or fail to cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged for the missed session.

Assessment Fees

Assessment fees cover all aspects of assessment including the include the initial appointment, history-taking, testing sessions, data analysis, a written report, and a feedback session to discuss findings.

Psychodiagnositic assessment: $2000 – $2500

Psychoeducational assessment: $2800

ADHD assessment: $2000

Assessment services are not covered under OHIP but may be covered under your extended healthcare plan if you have insurance. As well, assessment services may be claimed as a medical expense for income tax purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

If you miss a scheduled appointment or provide less than 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment, you will be charged for the appointment. This includes therapy appointments, initial meetings for assessments, and feedback sessions for assessments.

If you miss a scheduled day of testing and interviews for an assessment or provide less than 48 hours notice when cancelling, you will be charged a fee for missing the session/late cancel. This fee will be dependent on the block of time initially booked (e.g., half-day, full-day) and will be discussed with you at your initial assessment appointment.

When you join our practice, you will have the opportunity to request appointment reminders to help ensure you do not miss any appointments or cancel in a timely manner.
